# Corporate Actions

### Dividend Distribution

When a company pays a dividend on a stock you hold through Anchored, you receive your proportional share in USDC, net of taxes, fees and operational costs. We distribute dividends in USDC stablecoins, automatically depositing them into the wallet associated with your Anchored account.

#### How It Works

**What Are Dividends?**

Dividends are periodic payments that companies distribute to shareholders from their profits. When you hold stock tokens on our platform, you receive your proportional share of these dividends based on your token holdings, net of taxes, fees and operational costs.

**Payment Method**

All dividends are distributed as USDC (USD Coin), which is automatically deposited into the wallet associated with your Anchored account and becomes immediately available for placing new orders.

No action required - dividends are credited automatically.
